The Issue with Issues

I have recently been overwelmed with the discussions of issues. They seem to be present no matter where you are or the company you keep.
Issues on moral, issues on parenting, issues on human rights, or the issue of who's turn it is to wash dishes. Though somewhere between simple issues and more complex ones I had forgot to define the word. So I looked it up in the,"Websters Dick." To my surprise it's formal definition explains exactly how I've always felt about issues.

"Issues- 1. an act of flowing, going, or giving out. 2. a point of debate or discussion or dispute. 3. An outlet 4. to disagree"

So I now understand, although many profressors, academics, and lobby groups may have an issue with my interpertation of issues, they cannot debate,"The Websters Dick." (Dick is shorter than dictionary and makes me smile)
How I interpret issues. First, I have an issue with issues. How productive are issues? Who gets paid to come up with issues? How much time to people spend dealing with issues? And who's issue was it in the first place. How do we as a society benifit from these things called issues?
Issues to me are similar to that of the number system, having no beginning and no end. Although they are not all logical like numbers, and come to no sum or conclusion. They are an empty set, that take up an awful lot of television, and media space. They bombard our households, our office, environment, and personal relationships. They kill people, create war, disrupt our day to day lives, and make many people very angry and upset.
I personally have come to dislike issues of any kind, and I try to avoid them and the unhealthy havoc they create in my life. Ironically issues are sneaky and sly. They sneak up on you at the oddest times, turning our stomaches, and causing our mouths to shoot off like cannons. They can even cause us to raise a hand and lose our temper with no rational explanation.
So no matter how hard I try to avoid these nasty buggers, I always end up losing and find myself raising an issue that angers and upsets me. Often I'd like to find the jerk, (or dick) who invented issues, cause I have a issue to pick with him.
What's your issue?
