Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)

Capricorns are the mature, well-behaved, hardworking individuals in your life. Always striving, always perfecting, always bettering themselves. Their kids are well behaved, their hair is always combed, and their homes are neat and orderly. They never say the wrong thing and they will never wear the wrong shoes for whatever the occasion.

They are winners in life without a doubt. As they take life very seriously and can easy become work obsessed. Few signs are that dedicated or that critical of themselves to be so perfect. This can be both constructive and destructive for a Capricorn.

Examples of relationship rules with a Capricorn. Never pop in for a visit unexpectedly unless your family. Never wear mismatched socks with holes because they will be noticed, even judged for it. Never break the law in Capricorn's company. And never embarrass them in public. They need to always feel proper and polished...Athough this stress they put on themselves can often internalize leading to health problems. Stomach and bowel distress, skin rashes, arthritis, and depression. This polish also hinders many deeper relationships with other people, oh, but lets not forget the focus here.....money, wealth, status and success rather than foolish fun.

I have a friend who is Capricorn, she listens well, is kind, thoughtful and gives great advice in many areas of my life. Discipline with children, removing stains from my carpet, organization, relationships, and health advice. She could be my best friend but in truth I wear mismatched socks with holes, and my fly is always down.

No matter what interests a Capricorn, in time they will succeed. Slowly but surely. They are that determined Turtle while many of us are that overly confident, flamboyant Hare.

So the next time you are at a Christmas work party notice the polished gentleman, or lady, who never seems to drink too much, or spill their drink, and never puts their foot in their mouths....Your looking at the Capricorn and maybe your future boss so be careful.

Hitler Today

Today in the age of support groups, social welfare, and humanitarian aid. Could I be so bold as to suggest a decline to our moral sympathies. Although the reign of the nazi terror no longer exists but within ones memories and textbooks. Hitler's morality remains to haunt our societies from coast to coast.
The evil, sheer wickedness of his time was not only genocide but a moral philosophy based on fear, and lack of individual responsibility of ones morality.
We are arrogant to think that today in the 20th century this reality is no longer a threat to mankind.
That is, perhaps because we are living amongst the masses failing to see the destruction of ourselves. We fail to realize we are all victimizers within this intuition called “Society”
We no longer feel an independent responsibility for the care and dignity for those around us. Society created “organizations and forces” to deal with the "others."
Lawyers, Social Welfare, Police, Family Services, Community Aid, and Religion are all formed to benefit those around us. Or to help us avoid others around us?
During the reign of Hitler there was no protection from government aid. There was no where to hid or any protection from the terror. The people who survived did so, not because of government interference, but from the individual, the store keeper, the neighbor, the individual who felt a love and compassion towards mankind, so much so they would risk their own life and that of their family.
Today the sheer selfishness of our needs outweigh the compassion for the individual and so we call in the troops…to save a child, arrest a criminal, cloth the poor, educate the uneducated. The mere truth that we are numbing ourselves to the needs of another through the convenient aid of government agencies. It is far to easy for us to remove ourselves from the genocide when we are not picking up the bodies, or digging the graves. What we are doing is calling in the Nazis to dispose of the problems, are we not?
Mankind is regressing, society is helping, the government encouraging, and we are murdering each other slowly by keeping our hands clean from helping others at individual, personal level.
Morality? A victimizer is above all others, not equal, lacks personal feelings of responsibility and compassion for others. When is the last time you stopped for a hitchhiker in the cold, spent time with the elderly besides family, served a hot meal to your neighbors, and talked to a thieving teenager about responsible morality. Think About it.

The Ant

One morning I spent nearly an hour watching a tiny ant carry a huge feather cross my back terrace. Several times it was confronted by obstacles in its path and after a momentary pause it would make the necessary detour. At one point the ant had to negotiate a crack in the concrete about 10mm wide. After brief contemplation the ant laid the feather over the crack, walked across it and picked up the feather on the other side then continued on its way. I was fascinated by the ingenuity of this ant, one of God's smallest creatures. It served to reinforce the miracle of creation. Here was a minute insect, diminutive in size yet equipped with a brain to reason, explore, discover and overcome. But this ant, like the two-legged co-residents of this planet, also share human failings.

After some time the ant finally reached its destination - a flower bed at the end of the terrace and a small hole that was the entrance to its underground home. And it was here that the ant finally met its match. How could that large feather possibly fit down small hole? Of course it couldn't. so the ant, after all this trouble and exercising great ingenuity, overcoming problems all along the way, just abandoned the feather and went home. The ant had not thought the problem through before it began its epic journey and in the end the feather was nothing more than a burden.

Isn't life like that!

Don't we all carry similar baggage through life ? We worry about our family, we worry about acquisitions, we carry anger, hate, jealousies and expectations as we stumble through life. We worry about work, about where we live, about all sorts of things. These are all burdens. The things we pick up along life's path and lug them around the obstacles and over the crevasses that life will bring, only to find that at the destination they are useless and we can't take them with us...............

Contracts in Relationships

We all have contracts with those we invest emotional time with. The ability to fulfill that contract is the understanding of what its purpose is. This is why we have some relationships that blossom while others fail.

To understand our contracts better, we must know what it is we admire and respect from that individual. In turn, we must be aware of what they admire or respect from us.

In relationships where there is lack of admiration or respect the contract has no benefit or purpose to those involved. The relationship ceases to exist or is forced and uncomfortable.

Okay Folks, This is for you Aquarians, the hardest sign in the Zodiac to pin down. Reason being, they don't want us to read them as they themselves are not sure who they are.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)

We all know or have met an Aquarian, as they are everywhere and work in a variety of jobs. I tend to be married to one so find them
extremely annoying! I need to understand people and personalities and in the seven years he has yet to not surprise me.

"A condition in which a person is not, or claims not to be, dependent on others, not subject to their direction or influence. Being endowed with free will, humans have a natural desire for a measure of independence. Carried too far, however, this desire gives rise to disobedience, even rebellion."
This quote fits you Aqarians to a tee. This came from, "Reasoning from the Scriptures" a Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society. No this is not my religion, however I found it to be exactly what I needed to say.

Aquarians in a social setting are an added bit of entertainment. They do not hesitate to shock people with comments or conversation. Sometime we feel like they just came down from another planet as they seem to be totally out in left field. Not only from their topic of conversation but the lack of eye contact. Don't worry they were listening and do observe things better than we give them credit. The outlandish trait is a mind all it's own, seeing the world in a new light.
One most of us will never go to or understand. They can be respected as a genius in some regards, though if in the wrong setting they can also get locked away for being so nonconformist, or culturally described as being insane.

Friends they make are from all highways and diveways. As all people are given an equally friendly smile and approach. They may even keep some unsavory characters for friends through life as they enjoy their nonconformist lifestyle.

When they visit you, leave reading material out in the bathroom.
As they will be in there reading the length of their visit without concern. They have a inquisitive mind, and will read more into a environment or situation then you realize. As they count the cigarettes in the ashtray and note who had come to visit while they were away.
You cannot hide information from an Aquarian as they do investigate at all levels. Many reporter, writers, and great detectives were of this sign. If you watch old detective movies the personality of the detective is truly Aquarian.......even when a nice looking female walks in.

In love with an Aquarian, you won't know it. Don't ask them about emotions because they will just walk away but they may come back with a ring when your sick in bed with a flu. You think they don't listen, they do just may respond to you in a few days time.

resourceful and self-sufficient with money. They are not greedy but practical.

Aquarians summed up in a Zodiac sign is not a place to go. As if you are a true Aquarian no one but no one can slot you in a posting!

This is more of the Aquarian Man then Woman, although they have many similarities.

Tonight I wanted to comment on Aquarians, but got sidetracked after reading a comment from Eliz.

This inspired me in a variety of ways. Caused me to think.

Can we, being human, lovers of dreams and aspirations be truly at peace with our everyday?
Can we, enbrace stability and security and truly be at peace?
Can the stability and security we find sometimes lead us into an unsettled search for more?
If so, are we then searching for that in which may only add to our discontent?

Libra Sign

Here is a post for the Libra Woman whom so pleasantly comments on my nature.

Librans are confusing, although the symbol of the scales (one of balance) they lack the ability to stay balanced. Intelligent very, through the interest of reading and research they will learn all they can about a passionate interest of that DAY. Tomorrow on the other hand, the interest may lead them into a whole other direction.
Because of the Librans need to learn, they are great conversationalist.
They have a wide Knowledge of interests and can relate to any topic. Just don't ask for their opinion as it will last into the wee hours of the night and then some, before daylight comes your not sure where they stand.
Great in a work environment they can mend conflicting relationships around them if they feel the desire. At home that desire is often pushed aside for other priorities pending. Busy, Busy , Busy they like order and routine within their household, all things in there place and all family members in line. A dislike for being alone for extended periods of time, they will drop all household chores to reconnect and regrow diminished passion.
Librans are creative in all areas of life, music comes nature as does writing, painting, and debating.
A great listener though often too sensitive to others they can find themselves in a depressive slump easily.
Health in turn reacts with pounding headaches and stomach distress.
A great friend if you enjoy lively conversation and information overload. A great wife and mother as your house will hold balance most of the time. Do not make Librans enemies as they will research your flaws waiting for the right time to disclose them casually.

Zodiac Signs in Everyday Life

Had a Preschool meeting this evening, interesting how the conversation plays out between a wide rage of Zodiac Signs. Here is a peek at the Signs in everyday mode.

"All present please say and spell your names, I also have a two page agenda here to hand out" says Libra. "Anything to be added let me know now so we can move on"

The Libra lady is prepared, she heads the meeting with confidence and facts, giving detailed history about what has been happening, pen in hand and materials laid out in front of her.

"I'm not feeling well, so forgive me if I'm a little moody" states the Cancer on the left who then informs us about her recent dental work.

"Husband working nights, had to bring to kids, don't worry, I gave them a stern warning about being to noisy," states the Aries who is not yet seated.

Late - the Virgo comes in smelling of Mr.Clean.

In follows a Sagittarius, "What did I miss?" she asks abruptly.

Before the meeting the Gemini made coffee and supplied the goodies, arranging the chairs just so.

A Pisces sits quietly, admiring the art work.

The conversation leads into buying a photocopier for the preschool.

The Virgo is concerned about health issues with radiation.

The Aries wants to know if it will make life easier for the preschool, and herself, as she is the treasurer.

The Gemini wants to know why, and what alternatives we may have.

The Aquarius comments on an issue about drinking cups, that has already passed.

The Libra explains the pros and cons.

The quiet, till now, Capricorn, wants to know what kind, the cost of the ink or toner, and future expenses that may occur with it.

The Cancer sighs as she looks at her watch.

The Sagittarius considers it dumb and wants to know whose idea it was.

The Pisces is still quietly admiring the art work.

To sum it all up for those of us that are not familiar here we go...each one is true to their Signs.

An Old Soul

There are many different theories about an 'Old Soul'. Some believe if you have an Old Soul you have lived many different lives thus your experiences have lead you to a higher level of wisdom. Others believe it is personality alone. Just as some are optimistic, others pessimistic.

I believe it has no bearing on how many lives you have lived but the depth at which you experience your present life. An Old Soul can remove all of life's cultural and social trappings and still find purpose and enjoyment out of the simplest moments. They create a self-fulfilled life from their good nature, and genuine heart. Old Souls enjoy the song of a bird, the shape of a snowflake, and the smiles of others.

The Reader of People Behind The Blogs

Having been a palm reader for years, I have stumbled upon a whole new world of troubled and lost individuals. Hold Fast Aries as You Affect so Many People.

Aries

Born with a need to run their own show, Aries have the ability to create their own world reguardless of others influence.

Aries grow ideas overnight, and become bored with them just as quickly. Although passionate about control, Aries need to feel that their control is always with good intention.
Example.
While conversing with an Aries lady one day in the parking lot of a local store she made some comments about others behavior. "Look at all the smoke butts on the ground, how would they like butts on their carpet......Look at those drivers speeding through the parking lot....have they no control."

Ironically Aries feel it is all in the matter of benefiting mankind, although they fail to see the judgement, or harshness of their approach. Many other Signs find an Aries rude and judgemental but if you can look past their lack of tact, they can be true friends and loyal allies in any situation -- providing you do not treat others harshly in front of them.

Money is not a big issue with Aries. If they need it, they will find a way to make it, and if they want to spend it they will do so easily.

Aries defend the Underdogs, though if given reason they can treat you far worse than any other Sign. Emotional outbursts come and go as quickly as a passing breeze. Aries will forgive and forget past mistakes, but their loyalty is easily lost through conflict.

Aries in love need to control the relationship as they feel it too can be a great show if they are the directors. They need ongoing affection and praise for all their neurotic phases. But trust me,they are phases.
